Christmas/New Year Shipping 2017
Orders received after Friday 16th December 2016 will not be shipped until Monday 9th January 2017.
Orders are dispatched each Tuesday and Thursday. If you need something quickly or by a specific date please let us know and we will do everything we can to make it happen. If for any reason we are unable to dispatch your order we will notify you within 10 business days.
Please note some products are made to order and the lead times will vary. This information will always be displayed within the product description to avoid any confusion.
Unfortunately due to the nature of our business some products will sell out in a short amount of time and may not be able to be reordered.
If you order multiple items and one or more of the items incurs a made to order lead time, your order will not be shipped until it is complete, if you wish for your order to be sent in multiple shipments please email us with your order details to arrange.
"Standard Shipping" incurs a shipping and handling fee of $10 (within Australia). All orders with standard shipping will dispatched on the next Tuesday or Thursday.
"Express Shipping" incurs a shipping and handling fee of $15 (within Australia). All orders with express shipping will be dispatched within 24hrs.
Orders over $150 include free shipping and handling (within Australia). All orders that incur free shipping will be dispatched on the next Tuesday or Thursday as per the "Standard Shipping" terms.
Furniture and heavy or bulky items are subject to freight charges and standard shipping rates will not apply. Freight varies depending on the item and location. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a freight quote prior to purchase.
Shipping to New Zealand will incur a $50 shipping and handling fee.
We do not currently offer shipping to any other International destination, however feel free to contact us if you have an enquiry at email@example.com.

Clearance Sale Terms
Current Clearance Sale is ongoing. Existing Sale items are exempt from further discount.
Sale offers are not to be used in conjunction with any other offer unless otherwise stated. E.g. Customer discount vouchers will not be accepted if a Storewide/Product Sale is currently on offer.
All transactions are processed in AUD. For payment we accept Visa and MasterCard or PayPal. We do not accept personal or corporate cheques.
Pre-orders and back-orders
Pre-orders are available on all items that are coming soon.
Pre-orders are non-refundable but can be exchanged for a store credit if you change your mind prior to delivery of your item or within 10 days of receiving your item.
Lead times are estimates and can vary greatly. No discounts or refunds will be issued for changes or delays in lead times.
All prints and posters are supplied unframed unless specified in the product description.
A qualified electrician must install all lighting. Basic Habitat accepts no responsibility for lighting maintenance, installation or any damages caused.
Basic Habitat does not supply any lighting hardware or bulbs unless otherwise stated in the product description.
